The Practice Assessment
_____________________
A clear read on your practice, from someone who's spent time inside practices like yours.
$750 - 90 minutes, split across two calls and a written report in between.
You know your practice better than anyone. That's part of the problem.
You built the patient panel, your reputation and the systems that “hopefully” hold together. All of it is yours to carry but somewhere along the way, something started feeling off, and you've been too close to see the big picture.
Your schedule feels too full but you can't say why, only that you're more tired than the numbers explain.
Your team keeps checking with you on things they should be able to decide on their own, and you've stopped noticing how often that happens.
You took a vacation last year and checked your phone constantly.
You have a number in your head, a panel size or a revenue goal, and if you're not there yet it feels more like a indication if you've succeeded or failed.
None of this means something is broken. It usually means you've just been standing too close to see the pattern. Every physician learns to read a whole patient before committing to a treatment plan but never taught to read your own business the same way.
-
Independent physicians and nurse practitioners running a concierge, direct primary care, aesthetics, dermatology, or menopause-care practice. Already independent, no franchise or management company standing behind you. Already have real patients, a real reputation, and years of relationship capital built up, often most of the way to the practice you originally set out to build. Still stuck on the last mile: delegation, systems, the leadership piece, a real plan for what happens if you step back.
-
You're still employed by or under contract to a hospital or a large medical group
Your practice runs through an active franchise or management-company relationship with real control over how it operates
You haven't launched yet, or you don't have a patient base to assess
If any of those describe you, I suggest to save your $750. This is built to read a practice that ‘s already launched.
-
The determination is honest, whether or not it points toward more work together.
There are four possible outcomes to the Assessment:
You don't need ongoing help
You're not ready yet
Advisory is the fit
Private Consulting is the fit
The decision depends on what the Assessment surfaces, not on what's easiest or most profitable for me to recommend. If the honest answer is "go handle these two things yourself," that's what you'll hear.
-
You get the pattern, not five separate complaints. Almost every practice I look at has three or four things that look unrelated on the surface, an inconsistent patient enrollment process, a team that keeps escalating small decisions, a phone that never quite turns off. Usually they're not three or four problems. They're one problem wearing different clothes. Finding that connection is the actual point of the written Audit, not a list of generic best practices you could find anywhere.
-
$750, once, no upsell built into the structure. If you decide Advisory or Private Consulting is right for you and you join within 14 days of receiving your Practice Audit, the full $750 gets credited toward it. Outside that window, nothing changes, the $750 already paid for a real assessment and report, delivered in full.
How This Works
1
$750, straight through the payment link. No application or approval step. Book as soon as you want!
2
The Pre-Assessment Questionnaire
Takes about twenty minutes. This is where you tell me the facts and the easier questions get answered. Multiple choice, because it’s easier that way.
3
The 60-minute Assessment call
One-on-one via zoom . This hour is entirely yours. I'm not handing you conclusions on this call, I'll be gathering the pieces the questionnaire couldn't capture: the specific story behind a number, the thing you've never said out loud, the connections between what's happening in one part of your practice and another.
4
The Written Practice Audit
Delivered to your inbox within three business days. This is the real deliverable: where things stand, a read across all five practices with the specific evidence behind each one, the pattern connecting what looked like separate problems, three to five specific next steps ranked by priority, and an honest determination of what, if anything, you need next.
5
The 30-minute follow-up call
Once you've had a chance to read it, we get back on a call and go through it together. You push back on anything that doesn't land, I explain anything that needs more and we talk through it out loud.
If something about your practice has been sitting in the back of your mind, nagging you, this is built to help you name it. Not with generic advice, with an deep look at what's happening, from someone who's spent enough time inside practices like yours to recognize the pattern quickly once we start talking.
Questions worth asking before you book
-
If you're running an independent practice and something feels off that you can't quite name, this is built for exactly that. You don't need to already know what the problem is. Most of the physicians I work with couldn't have told me either, going in.
-
It's not a failed outcome, it's an honest one, and it's one of four real answers this Assessment is built to give.
-
No. This is built for any independent medical professional working in direct patient care, physicians and nurse practitioners both, running concierge, direct primary care, aesthetics, dermatology, or menopause-care practices. What matters is that the practice is independent and does direct patient care, not the specific credential behind it.
-
Because the other 30 minutes isn't padding, it's a second, deliberate touchpoint. The first hour is discovery, listening and asking questions, no verdict delivered on the spot. That gives me real time to think between the call and the report instead of synthesizing your whole practice out loud in real time. Once the written Audit is in your hands, the last 30 minutes is spent walking through it together, live.
-
No. There's barely a sales conversation anywhere in this process. The Assessment is the work, not a pitch for the next thing. If it turns out Advisory or Private Consulting is the right next step, you'll hear that plainly, with the reasoning behind it, not a script.
-
Just the questionnaire, filled out in full. Some of the questions ask about things you don't usually say out loud, whether you trust your own read on the practice, what happens when you're not in the room. Sitting with those is part of the process, not a sign something's wrong.
